August weekends are absolutely critical for recruitment of future physicians. Support an FY1 on call for medicine this weekend and they’ll be the med reg four years from now. Ignore, berate, abuse or bully them and they’ll (rightly) go elsewhere. Be the right kind of kind please.

The irony of giving myself a back spasm whilst slumped on my couch doing the Display Screen Equipment e-learning cannot be understated.
