I have looked into having this done privately. I have a small amount of money put away towards a deposit for a house that I could use but can not cover the whole amount of the operation - it seems that health is now a privilege in the UK and this is terribly disappointing... 12/

Many resident doctors from across the country complain that they struggle to do workplace-based assessments. Senior doctors may give them the impression that they are too busy & don't give them time. Or in some cases, they agree to fill WPBAs, but don't do it. This leaves

To stamp out HIV stigma, we contact journalists to correct misleading/inaccurate reports on HIV. You'd be surprised how many times we've had to say HIV cannot be transmitted through spitting... Our reporting guide is now available through @IpsoNews🔻 https://t.co/2dw4AXfYIC

It's been shown that doctors were unsafely replaced on medical rotas by PAs on 109 occasions, across 11 trusts over 3 months. This appalling patient safety scandal must end. Read our letter to @NHSEngland. And our response to @Channel4News revelations: https://t.co/DIEWTpmIAn

Prof @Kevin_Fong giving the most devastating and moving testimony to the Covid Inquiry of visiting hospital intensive care units at the height of the second wave in late Dec 2020. The unimaginable scale of death, the trauma, the loss of hope. Please watch this 2min clip.

Your notes could be a lot better if you included the dates of surgeries, procedures, and starting/stopping antibiotics 😇

August weekends are absolutely critical for recruitment of future physicians. Support an FY1 on call for medicine this weekend and they’ll be the med reg four years from now. Ignore, berate, abuse or bully them and they’ll (rightly) go elsewhere. Be the right kind of kind please.

One last meat and potato pie (splendid) at the best and most supportive hospital @NorthMcrGH_NHS . I'll miss the amazing staff and the positive ethos which has given me the best start in my career I could have asked for. (If you come here you really do have to try the pie)

"Mass emails that demand clinicians to discharge older patients without proper assessment are not only disrespectful but also undermine the clinicians' role." We aim to discharge as many patients as safely possible every day, why is a message at 8AM going to change that?
"When the hospital gets busy, immediate reaction from the people with managerial roles is to post a message in a large group asking clinicians to discharge patients. These can be sent at any hour, blurring the lines between professional and personal time."
