Excited to unveil The Living Wage for Musicians Act, a proposed law headed to Congress that I've been working on with @UMAW_!. It would greatly increase artist streaming pay, and it's sponsored by 2 of my political heroes @JamaalBowmanNY & @RashidaTlaib!.
HUGE NEWS. I've been working with @UMAW_ to develop a new music streaming law sponsored by @JamaalBowmanNY & @RashidaTlaib!. The Living Wage for Musicians Act would put aside a % of the $ collected by music streaming services and pay it as an additional royalty direct to artists!.

Was in Montreal today and the smoke was so bad I started to feel woozy. Looked it up and Montreal currently has the worst air IN THE WORLD. Global warming is becoming a serious problem fast.
Canadian wildfire smoke will continue to blow around the Northeast, including New York, into Sunday afternoon. A new surge of smoke is expected on Monday. The smoke will be near the ground, producing a campfire-like smell, with unhealthy air quality.
