Adding the inconvenience, the inner roads are blocked by heavy machinery and cars/bikes have been left to rot for years. So many elderly folks in this area find it difficult to walk here. In case of emergency, what do we do? @mybmc @MumbaiPolice @MTPHereToHelp @MumbaiRTO

Nice end to women’s day. My sister & I were arriving home post 1:15am & we had to get out of our cab & walk down the deserted route to our home in Kalina because the only car access road was shut for work with barricades on both sides. @mybmc @MumbaiPolice think about our safety.

If all societies adopt a 1-2 strays, feed and house the animals, they not just save their lives but they tame those strays and stop them from being rabid and attacking humans. It’s a win-win situation for both. Animals only are a nuisance if you are one to them.
Some Navi MumbAi society has fined a lady 7L for feeding strays. Housing committees are alternate Governments. I don’t know why are they given so much power

Also losing weight & staying that way is kind of a privilege. You have to drop ₹₹₹ to buy healthy food ingredients. Or you pay someone to do cook for you if you have a busy career. And you have to be able bodied to be able to do the most basic exercises.

I’m no doctor, but I know BMI is an inaccurate system. I also know that weight loss is not that easy because most people gain because of pre-existing medical conditions, hormonal imbalances, medication, stress/depression, poor metabolism - all of which isn’t a choice.
30 year obese friend with BMI 32 , consults me for lumbar disc prolapse . I asked her to reduce weight . She - Im trying to be positive about my body .My body,my choice. I still can't get over what she said 😑
