Hawick is waking up to Tory incompetence; investment is returning, ambition blossoming.

Your message demonstrates hunger for lost power and desperation that you are about to lose the little you have left.
Our campaign has a clear message: In key seats like Angus and Perthshire Glens, only the Scottish Conservatives can beat the SNP and get focus back to your priorities, not independence and division. It's a message that resonates- and it will work if we unite to vote the SNP out.

It's not looking good for your lot, Stephen. When your party fizzles out next week we'll all have a decent Scotch ready for the toast. Imagine the party of Disraeli and Churchill taking third place after Ed Davy's bunch of comedians.
If the SNP do not lose this election, they will consider it a mandate for pushing more independence nonsense on us. And they have very low standards for a 'win'. They must be beaten- in key seats vote Scottish Conservative to do it. Any other vote lets the SNP win.

Do you remember Richard Wilson's superb portrayal of the grumpy old man. He enjoyed two advantages over you: he was original and he was not a git.
@wotsitooyah @HawickYes I know the figures but you being a gullible imbecile seem to be unaware of them ..

Many, many years ago my mother taught me to ignore nasty, impolite people who use bad language. They are angry, she said because they know they are wrong. Nothing has changed in the last half century.

We were taught that nothing undermines criticism more than leaving one's self open to it. We were also taught to spell.
@HawickYes And there budgets have been constrained by an incompetent administration at Holyrood

Oh, you cynic. That implies a level of organisation way beyond the competence of Tories.
@HawickYes @Rachael2Win @PamGosalMSP Am guessing …….. never! This was not ‘instinct’. It was political expediency.

That kind of comment lends credibility yo the rear zip theory.
@AgentP22 They do it on purpose so that when they get thumped they can blame WM for it and the 🐏🐏 will believe them. That will be their Mandate to carry on with Indy. They think we zip up the back @ScotNatWatch

Did he ignore it or consider it as a factor in his calculation of the best date for an election? Nah, that implies a level of planning clearly not understood by Tories.
@AgentP22 Here you go again! Timelines tight, most postal votes delivered by Saturday June 29. But folks who have scheduled vacation to start when school closes may be gone by time mail arrives. Is that the fault of SNP? Maybe it’s the fact Sunak ignored Scottish school holiday schedule.

If ever there were an admission that you policies are empty promises, this is it. The reality is that the Tory party fears the SNP message of hope for an end to the pillaging of our country by Westminster.
🗳At this General Election voters have a choice. 🔵In key seats across the country, it's either a Scottish Conservative candidate focused on your priorities, or an SNP candidate and another 5 years of independence obsession.

Instead we used that money to boost spending on the Scottish NHS. All small retail business in Scotland already benefited from much better business rates relief than England.
This call might have a shred of credibility had the SNP not refused to pass on to hospitality businesses here the 75% rates relief granted to those in England by the UK Government. You have the powers to help now, you’ve refused to use them.

One could expect no more from The Express. It takes a peculiar skill to hear what you want to hear and ignore reality. John Swinney dealt courteously and calmly with every question to the voluble approval of the audience despite Bruce's misleading attempts to derail him.
John Swinney dismantled by Fiona Bruce in brutal BBC Question Time appearance as he 'misleads' viewers - https://t.co/1hNHf5xvy2

It must have been a great shock to you that an audience untainted by your lies and misinformation reacted so well to an honest man. It was particularly noticeable that your anti Scottish leader received a much more muted response.
Can’t believe John Swinney’s performance on #bbcqt - he has been at the heart of the SNP govt for 16 years; he is the architect of austerity in Scotland; he is responsible for much of the division in Scottish politics. And he created a culture of secrecy in govt. #VoteScotLab24

Regardless of the accuracy of the claim we do need to look forward to repurposing our retail areas as the face of domestic purchasing changes. We need new approaches not attempts to revitalise streets designed for leisurely Victorian shoppers travelling on foot or by carriage.
No wonder Perth business owners are furious at Wishart who has done nothing to support them over his years as a MP. Time for @LukeGrahamUK!

Labour's answer to problems, more talk. They should be asking Labour led councils whether they have claimed all they can.
The SNP handed back hundreds of millions of unspent EU structural funds, and Scottish Labour is demanding a summit to plan to spend remaining funds on vital projects. Only Labour has a fully costed plan to improve public services. Vote Labour on 4th July. #VoteScotLab24 🌹

Tory claims that Scotland to give back £450m in EU funding are premature and exaggerated; who'd have thought it... It's the desperate scrambling to use anything to divert attention from Tory failure which is exposing their vulnerability. https://t.co/eU7oqrznBV via @ferretscot

Newspaper reports, social media posts and politicians have made similar claims about the Scottish Government failing to spend EU funding.

Honest John showed his mettle last night. Despite Fiona Bruce's attempts to detail him Swinney sold his vision of a free Scotland to a largely English audience. Meanwhile Murdo is obsessing about stamps.
