Strong support for
@John2Win
on a sunny day in Melrose ☀️
Local people are frustrated that John Swinney and his SNP Government are continuing to put independence above their real priorities.
At the general election, vote
@ScotTories
to beat the SNP!
This is another example of the SNP Government overpromising and underdelivering.
Humza Yousaf announced this scheme to much fanfare but only FOUR homes have been secured.
SNP ministers must urgently address the housing emergency in our rural areas.
The chamber is not the right space for
@Ross_Greer
to judge how members of parliament practice or interpret their faith.
However, if he wants to challenge
@_KateForbes
then his own interpretation of to whom equal rights apply must also be questioned.
Today Scottish Green MSPs voted against Kate Forbes becoming Deputy First Minister.
We cannot support the appointment of someone who fundamentally does not believe that everyone in Scotland is equal and worthy of equal rights and respect under the law.
Pleased 2see there will be a Member's debate in ScotParl on 29 May in relation to the ban on wood fuel heating for new builds. I score 101 on Co2 SAP rating for house I (was) trying to build using log gasifcation boiler. ScotGov has now banned me from achieving this high rating.

: The Bute House Agreement may be over, but the extremist Green Party policies are sticking around.
The SNP must listen to people in rural Scotland who rely on wood-burning stoves to heat their homes.
Join our campaign to reverse the ban 👇
This is the attention to detail the SNP give rural Scotland.
An embarrassing display from the minister this afternoon at rural questions.
After repeatedly betraying our rural communities, they now fail to answer key questions.
Watch now 👇
@ScotTories
Help us save wood-burning stoves from the unnecessary SNP ban by sharing and joining our campaign today!
Wood-burning stoves are vital for rural and island communities - who are at risk of being left without power, hot water or a means of cooking.
I’m sure the Eurovision used to be a family friendly!
In 1981, I was invited by my Sunday School teacher to a Eurovision party (on the telly) where Bucks Fizz performed and won.
It wasn’t anything like today’s creative display!😳

As the new First Minister John Swinney must drop the divisive independence agenda and focus on Scotland's real priorities.
To support the Borders, and rural Scotland, I want to see the £45m taken from the rural affairs budget returned.
Wishful thinking, but if John Swinney wants less division in Scotland he should rule out any back door deals with the extreme Scottish Greens and take independence off the table.
We have secured a debate for the 29th May where we will stand up for rural Scotland.
The SNP's the ban on wood-burning stoves will have a serious impact on rural and island communities.
Help us send the SNP a clear message to reverse the ban👇
Giving evidence to MSPs, Dr Hilary Cass says further work needs to be carried out to understand the impact of puberty blockers.
"We want to understand if there is a small group of young people who do benefit from puberty blockers."
John Swinney has been at the heart of an SNP government that has ignored rural Scotland for 17 years.
He should drop his independence obsession and focus on their real priorities.
We urge him to reverse £45m cuts to the rural budget and finally back gene-editing in Scotland.
