Haveno doesnt exist because of animosity with Bisq. It exists because we believe we can build a better DEX that focuses on privacy, ease of use, and cheap trades. Bisq's main focus appears to be close compatibility with BTC, which we care about but are less tied to.

Most of the Bisq transaction volume is BTC/XMR. It's been that way for 3+ years. Now people can trade on this pair more conveniently, more cheaply, and more privately. If the Haveno DEX user experience is worse, people will just keep using Bisq. More options are good.
