The 2008 recession was real. The layoffs that have happened since the pandemic. Eh. The companies been acting shiesty and the republicans encouraged it.

Dems should have explained why those layoffs happened. It was mostly pure capitalistic profiteering.
You don’t have to appeal to Trump voters (really, please don’t) but I am dying for people to stop with the “economy is fine” gaslighting like we didn’t see hundreds of companies lay people off in 2024
