I don't think calling someone a racist is going to help, @Rylan had some questions, one can agree or disagree, but then lambasting him as a racist won't help. Dialogue is needed, perhaps even Rylan talking to an asylum seeker, more talk is needed than outcry!.
You can be pro immigration and against illegal routes. You can support trans people and have the utmost respect for women . You can be heterosexual and still support gay rights. The list continues. Stop with this putting everyone in a box exercise and maybe have conversations.

I agree with @Nigel_Farage and @reformparty_uk - #freespeech is a problem as it has been curtailed, now councils don't even want to speak to local media, this can't go on, the country is sick and tired
bbc.co.uk
The Nottingham Post describes the ban as "concerning" and "unprecedented".

where are the bastions of #freespeech when a Reform council refuses to speak to local media because they don't like what they write - #Nottingham.

Unfetted social media hate and unfeted one hour press conferences of #farage which BBC and SKY ran without real scrutiny so what do we expect!.
Racist graffiti in Thornley, Bishop Auckland (North East England). I spoke to a Muslim in the area last summer who was deeply worried about racist violence. His wife was having panic attacks at the time. This is the experience of smaller Black and Asian communities in Britain.

I hope the @TheGreenParty with four MPs or the @LibDems Dems with 72, get given uninterrupted coverage by BBC and Sky for one hour in the same way Farage was given as he laid out his plans to stop boats which don't add up! #reform.

We have to do more of this! Just engaging and talking to people! It will break down stereotypes and misinformation!.
On the doorstep, a man shouted at me:.“I’m not voting for a p@#i.”. I didn’t walk away. I listened to him. Turns out his real issue was fly-tipping — so a few days later, I got it cleared. A few months later, we spoke again. After the election, he told me:.“I voted for you.”

I think this questioning by the @BBCNews presenter is low. Only so much one can defend them, does she not know that Al Jazeera employed local people after Israel expelled foreign ones? Al Jazeera execs (I was in the room) did something so sensical, while the others didn't.
BBC presenter: "In terms of how journalists are operating in the Gaza strip. Obviously international organisations like the BBC cannot go in. so Al Jazeera using local people there. Are they able to operate truly independently?". An absolutely disgraceful question.

Such drivel and he’s gaslighting all but his supporters are diminishing apart and Israel’s standing has fallen so back! He still lies and lies using old tropes but it Jo longer works hence why he is doing more.
At an international press conference today, ICC-wanted PM Netanyahu was asked why Israel still blocks foreign journalists from Gaza and if he agrees with Trump’s remark about “real starvation” taking place. He said more reporters would be allowed in soon — then repeated his

The same issues and questions come up for many Muslims in public life! One can be respectful and one can understand the bigger picture! @MothinAli has done both here, dealing with some difficult issues.
Hear from me directly. Thanks so much to my friend and comrade Cllr Jenny Knight for sitting down to have this important conversation with me! Where we discuss my solidarity with trans communities, my faith and LGBTQIA+ rights, and the efficacy of pledges and my structural

One man who does great work in exposing the #islamophobja industry so when a failed journalist and his rag do an hatchet job then you know @miqdaad is doing a great job.
Andrew Gilligan is back in The @spectator —because nothing says “credible journalism” like a man who’s been sued for libel (and lost), slapped down by regulators, and discredited more times than he's changed his tie. Must be a slow week in the Islamophobic news department.

Epic meltdown by people over what artists and singers are saying against the genocide in #Gaza at #Glastonbury2025, yet they were ok when Morrissey, Roger Daltrey and Ringo Starr supported Brexit!.

My latest on what we can learn from @ZohranKMamdani election strategy in a UK context - it just shows #populism. Thanks @ScottLucas_EA once again for the chance.
Some pundits --- including those IDing as #Democrats --- have been pushing doom and gloom over #ZohranMamdani win in #NewYorkCity Mayor primary . So it's a privilege to publish this vital and constructive analysis by @HasanPatel.
