New @BigCzcn paper! Threshold C-Q responses were rare for 11 solutes across CAMELS catchments; solutes were dominated by 1 or 2 C–Q patterns; & links to catchment/hydroclimatic attributes were weak. Great ref paper for your fave solute or region!

Threshold responses in C–Q relationships were relatively rare for solutes in minimally disturbed catchments across the contiguous USA. Dominant C–Q patterns for solutes further suggest that vertical...

Excited to announce the publication of a study I led! We investigate surface water responses to precipitation events in a hyper arid basin and use lumped parameter modelling to define different inflow mechanisms that create those responses. Read more at https://t.co/qj6fdQLIl2

How can stream restoration structures be adjusted to optimize biogeochemical function? Our new paper explores design "levers" that can be pulled to shift the amount of hyporheic flow through a structure AND the residence/transit time. Longer 🧵 to come... https://t.co/Gw0hPtolnT
