The Queen’s message “We will meet again” completely floored me. It will mean so much to so many of us. She does get it right every time.

Thank you to schools & nurseries staying open through the Easter hols -- to look after key workers' children, so their parents can look after us all.
Hampshire schools and nurseries are open during the Easter holidays so that critical workers whose children cannot be cared for at home can continue to work. Find out how to get help: https://t.co/YXHOEREh0F

I absolutely agree. I live in a flat without a garden, so my local park, Brockwell in Lambeth, is vital for my physical and mental health. But so many people, especially joggers and cyclists, are not keeping to the 2m/6ft distancing rules.
Closing parks and open spaces in lockdown should be 'last resort', Communities Secretary Robert Jenrick tells #R4Today

#histmed #histnursing I love this 💙
This Thames mudlarking find is linked to the smallpox epidemic in 1881. It would have been worn by someone who worked on the Metropolitan River Ambulance which ferried smallpox patients along the Thames to Longreach where isolation hospital ships were moored #mudlark #mudlarking

I’m sat in the car weeping. Patients are dying. Doctors, nurses & other healthcare professionals are dying. A small slip could lead to ones death. It’s not a game. It’s not a hoax. If you don’t absolutely have to go out #StayHomeSaveLives

In today's coronavirus briefing, the health secretary reported that in the last 24 hours, two nurses and two healthcare assistants have tragically died fighting coronavirus—fighting for us. Terrible news; thinking of their families and friends.

Lots of NHS staff are having to potentially put their families at risk, so is it fair for me to stand by and do nothing?

St Helena has been a film set for the last couple of days as all the academics and associates have been preparing lots of online resources for the nursing programmes. We hope the students enjoy them 🤞🤞

Joining in with #FridayFloraandFauna so here's a lovely illustration of cardamom, known as ‘chief of all seeds’ by 17thc herbalists due to wide ranging medicinal properties. Was also used in folk medicine as a fertility treatment #botany

Older people may feel particularly isolated at this time. Our guidance recommends activities such as befriending opportunities that can be offered over the phone: https://t.co/0rMLa8W8fg

There’s a lot of misinformation doing the rounds about #coronavirus, and it’s hard to know who to trust. Visit https://t.co/c05grv15Ti to find out what the symptoms are, how to prevent the spread, and who should stay at home.
