Dear @dcwater, we & our neighbors worked hard for historically appropriate brick sidewalks in #HistoricAnacostia. #leadfreedc teams haven’t put them back properly. These tripping hazards should be fixed, & all future removals ensure that our sidewalks are properly restored. 🙏🏼

My friend Marcia Parkes lived across from 1326 Valley Pl. SE . She was a big advocate for its rehabilitating. Marcia lost her battle with cancer on Feb 9, 2019, she never got to see the home renovated. Seeing this house always makes me cry but it makes me really proud too. ❤️
