So Phil Lesh died today, and I'm reminded of Aug '95 when Jerry died and I just happened to be rolling into Anchorage AK into a welcoming community of unknown friends for some healing. I miss that, and I wonder if it could or would ever happen again. Peace.

I don't think the country is on the right track at the moment because one of our two main political parties has been hijacked by an authoritarian cult. I'll be voting for Harris-Walz.
The president's party has never (at least back to 1980) won another term in the White House with so few Americans saying the U.S. is on the right track (28%, today). The average when the prez party loses (25%) is far closer to today's number, though there is a bit of a twist.
