This is just one approach to working with interested parties in restoration. Other presenters spoke about guardianships, living labs, adaptive co-management and more. Important thing is to commit: building trust and relations takes time and resources, but it is worth it.

I presented on work I did last year, with @_JanetFisher and @csandbrook, on the Restoration Partnership Development toolkit. It's an adaptable soc-sci based toolkit to understand and discuss stakeholder perspectives on landscape-scale #restoration🗨️💡🌾.

Back from a great week at #sere2024 in Estonia with @EndangeredLands! I presented in the session on equitable and effective stakeholder engagement in ecological restoration. Unifying message across panellists seemed to be: invest time, build trust!.

Interesting and extremely useful paper from fab colleagues @_HelenaSlater et al. Widespread acknowledgement that conservation is an interdisciplinary field is not reflected in HE teaching in UK and Australia.
New paper published: Assessing the breadth and multidisciplinarity of the conservation curriculum in the United Kingdom and Australia . Thanks to all of the participants and to co-authors @_JanetFisher, @_GeorgeHolmes, @csandbrook and @aidank.
