It wouldn’t be the GWG conference without the quiz and Bruce the quizmaster with some fiendishly difficult questions. Puzzled looks all round!

I’ve had a brilliant day at the @GreatWarGroup conference in Bristol. Some engaging speakers included Mike Taylor on German trophy guns and Jamie Nimmo on the Scottish involvement at Loos in 1915. @theweejamster

Trustee Nicolai Eberholst talking about the war on the Eastern Front. The book “Ring of Fire”, written by Nicolai and GWG Director Alex Churchill, covers the outbreak of WW1 from a global perspective and not the Anglo centric perspective that we are accustomed to.
