An outright admission that the purpose is to manipulate elections
If ID cards had been introduced 20 years ago, Britain would probably still be in the EU and the massive anti-immigration sentiment propelling Farage greatly reduced. Now it may be too late, but still right to try. The public mood has dramatically changed.
