I live in a town with a tiny Jewish community, and I'm not religious, so nobody to talk to IRL about Israel, (except phone calls to my Israeli friends, and they don't need to hear me vent tbh). I've been so grateful for my lovely people on here esp. over the last 6 months. x

when I was at University, I had a map of Israel on my wall, used to cook Israeli food for my fellow students and show off about how great it is over there. Now I tell my 18yr old daughter to just keep quiet and don't mention anything. Corbyn's to blame for this fear in Jews here.
