As a final observation on the night I called BTP there was no visible Scotrail onboard customer facing staff on the train either. There had to have been one but clearly wasn’t coming out from wherever they’d shut themselves away - I’d walked the train.

Rule 101 is barriers must be left open if unattended. Safety must not outweigh revenue collection. Having spoken with onboard staff it’s clear there have been other complaints about Stirling.

This occurred less than two weeks before a sexual assault reported at Stirling Station.. Just last weekend, to make matters worse, the gate line was left shut whilst unattended - on at least two occasions over two days. This is a heath and safety risk.

Of a night time there is no presence despite officers of BTP supposedly based at Stirling. On one occasion males were intimidating lone women - one in particular on a train from Glasgow. I interceded and contacted BTP - expecting train to be met at Stirling. There was no one

The £200m earmarked for retraining those 430 losing their jobs is quite the “cash cow” for the usual suspects that deliver poor value. I’m sure the money will be spent wisely and not equate to huge profits.. Maybe should just give each worker average of 465k, call it quits 🤷🏼‍♀️
