The Supreme Court of Texas ruled Friday that sovereign immunity, which largely shields government agencies from civil lawsuits, also protects the operator of the Texas electric grid -- meaning ERCOT can’t be sued over its failures during 2021 winter storm.

A little research goes a long way. #ChadWest has received over $50k from high end developers. Initially, the #WOCAP committee had no one from W.OakCliff and did little to engage the Latinx community. As result his ill-informed policy would have driven out Latinx auto businesses.
In District 1, @ChadWestDallas has been a leader on affordable housing and other urbanism issues like parking minimums and I-345. He has a depth of knowledge about housing policy that benefits the entire city. 2/5

In district one we hear the incumbent talk quite a bit about workforce housing. But we haven’t heard anything about equitable access to housing in District One. It’s time to change that.
