State Sen. Liz Krueger said she’s perplexed as to what triggered the law's reinterpretation. She said there’s no reason for the “immediacy and the hysteria” state regulators have caused. “It’s like a government-invented crisis, as far as I’m concerned,” she said.
Could your NY weed dispensary have to move?. @clewisreports and I mapped out the 108 dispensaries who were suddenly told they’re too close to schools. Most are in NYC, unsurprisingly.

Leftist Jews and Jews who criticize Israel *for social acceptance* with non-Jews are beyond the communal debate. They are not stakeholders. They do not tie their fate to us. Their community is their non-Jewish peers, not us. That's fair game to criticize.

Mamdani leads among Jewish voters, though there are clear dividing lines by age and denomination. Mamdani wins majority support among reform/non-denominational/secular/non-practicing Jews & Jews under age 45. Cuomo wins a plurality of conservative/orthodox Jews and Jews age 45+

Absolutely diabolical move from Governor Hochul to undercut social equity in NY’s cannabis market. Unclear why this decision was made, unclear who it benefits, but very clear it makes life harder for many cannabis entrepreneurs harmed by prohibition/with previous convictions.
NEW: The Office of Cannabis Management is forcing 152 cannabis retailers to find new locations after a review determined that the way the agency calculated proximity to schools and churches was incorrect. The affected businesses include 60 dispensaries that are already open.

I actually think that ideology — an ideology that comes with actual solutions to an affordability crisis — has something to do with Zohran Mamdani’s success.

This type of rhetoric is how baseball announcers used to talk about “gritty” white players before anyone learned about advanced metrics. “Has what it takes to go all the way to the White House” is pure gibberish and means nothing and Shapiro won’t be our next president.
Shapiro gets a ton of criticism from Progressives on Twitter, but they've never really reckoned with the fact that Shapiro has what it takes to go all the way to the White House.

For a very small fee I’m willing to advise campaigns on simple low hanging fruit, like register your personal vehicle in NYC and get NY plates BEFORE you start running for office.
I’ve never seen a paid for notice on a car before, but I appreciate Jim Walden’s commitment to transparency!.The independent mayoral candidate says yes, it’s his personal car… And it’s registered at his vacation home in Connecticut, hence the license plate.
