This was a disqualifying statement, TBH. America is too important for one of its two party leaders to be this out of touch. We should poll test "support or oppose permanent damage to the political system." I bet it would be 70%.

The debt is at $40 trillion because we give more free shit to more people every year, and we allow the people who get free shit to vote. It’s that simple. We’d have to limit who is allowed to vote to even BEGIN to address the problem.
