I visited @Lines_for_Life in Portland & saw firsthand their lifesaving work administering the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and Youthline network. This item that the FCC adopted today will help ensure those in crisis can get the local help they need.
Today we approved rules that would require all U.S. wireless carriers to implement georouting for calls to the 988 Lifeline to make sure callers are connected with crisis centers near their physical location.

I was thrilled to join @RepVeasey on a tour of Lady Bird Johnson Middle School’s impressive facilities. Amazing to see how they’re preparing students for bright futures in robotics, programming, and STEAM!
FCC Commissioner Starks & I visited a middle school in Irving, TX to explore how closing the digital divide can improve lives. We met with students creating AI programs that assist those with disabilities and heard from organizations about initiatives to expand access to Wi-Fi.
