Years upon years of crypto BS was inflating the prices of GPUs (why I waited 10 years to upgrade) which finally looked like it was coming to an end as mining is no longer worth it. and now a new thing (AI companies buying all the RAM) comes along to f*ck consumers AGAIN.

You could get those exact sticks for only £85 just one month ago, that's how quickly this has got out of control.
