This is great news for kids and for public education. But we must remain vigilant to efforts to bring this boondoggle for billionaires back into the bill in some form. #studentsoverbillionaires.
Great news for public school families—the Senate parliamentarian tossed Betsy DeVos’s private school voucher scheme out of the “big beautiful bill.”. It’s going to be far harder for her to use a billionaire tax shelter to ram vouchers into Michigan and other states that said no.
