Yeah it's mostly thanks to Traveler quick ability to adapt and learn... after all they have been in many world and surely has learned new languages in order to adapt and communicate.And Paimon was there and patient to teach them Teyvat's language too

I mean the interlude of Sumeru isn't something you are forced to do to do Fontaine Aq ( only Caribert is an important quest ) so maybe in this "version" the interlude didn't happened and so the memories and histories didn't got "modified" ?

By the way it's interresting that Pierrot "repeat" the words of the Tsarista and make Arlecchino the official 4th fatui Harbinger, the Knave and only some Harbingers is there while for Tartaglia apparently most if not all Harbingers were there and the Tsarista was there as well.
