I would say it is crystal clear: Mobile operators want both new spectrum and the ability to reuse and refarm existing bands for 6G. No contradiction in that.
6G just can't seem to get its story straight Telcos demanding new spectrum while insisting 6G should not necessitate a hardware refresh is one of numerous contradictions. https://t.co/BQg6mi1Zgd

Hard to argue with this: UK open RAN strategy fails as Ericsson and Nokia divide kingdom 0.1% of UK mobile traffic and only 130 sites live https://t.co/zuThX4raJS

Data from Ofcom shows open RAN has gone nowhere in the UK, while the government plan for vendor diversity is in ruins.

A strange Capital Markets Day for @nokia. In years to come, it might standout as a moment of transition and genius by the new CEO. But there was some curious messaging, especially on the mobile side. Shares are down 9%
Nokia CEO Justin Hotard is collapsing four business groups into two and slashing costs in a bid to revive the company. Read more on Light Reading: https://t.co/0g1YrVzOQU

Did America’s Christian founders create a blueprint for totalitarianism? Were the Puritan colonists of New England religious fundamentalists who oppressed women, blacks, and religious minorities based on literal readings of the Bible? Were they early communists who abolished the

A shame to see @tommiuitto leaving @nokia. Would love to have seen what his leadership could have done with all of mobile networks under one roof. But for sure, he put in a full shift, with overtime, and made critical progress for MN. https://t.co/F6QVQZNWDX

On upper 6GHz, my quote within: "It is self-evident that the UK should harmonize with the rest of Europe. There's little to gain by from departing from the European mainstream on 6GHz."
European mobile operators have won a long-running battle for upper 6GHz spectrum, leaving the Wi-Fi camp to hope for scraps. Read more on Light Reading: https://t.co/PZQXOnOfAe

Remember back 10 years and the talk of a 5G CPE that would mount outside on your window? It's happening... almost. @SolacePower, a small Canadian tech company focused on wireless power, has prototypes and test data to back it up. https://t.co/zplRnJ20gA

This would be a great move for Nvidia. @wayve_ai has a modern way of automation in the real world. Very cool technology. Challenge is Wayve wants to be platform independent. Nvidia as a strategic investor might crimp that style
NEWS: Nvidia is considering a $500 million investment in UK self-driving startup Wayne. Here is a video of a Wayve vehicle that uses 7 cameras, no radar, no LIDAR, no HD maps and no labeling. All an end-to-end AI-enabled foundation model. Wayve currently operates in Britain and
