The other part that is missing is education on the recruiting process for players, families and even travel orgs. When players come to GSP and say they want to go D1, we ask how they came about that. For a small group, that’s realistic.

Recruiting has changed but many travel organizations haven’t. Let’s think about this scenario for a player. 1) D1 - preferred walk on, average facilities, .500 or below record. 2) NAIA - full ride, great facilities, top 15 program . What would you choose? . 🤔.

It also puts down D2, D3, NAIA, and JUCO options. The majority of HS players who want to play college ⚾️ or 🥎 will be D2, D3, NAIA, or JUCO. That’s something to be proud of you. I wish that more organizations marketed those players instead of D1.

Summer season ended within the last 2 weeks for 🥎. There are travel 🥎 orgs practicing 1-3x per week now and playing games. When do the players get a break? . Shouldn’t now until mid-Oct be the time to get in the weight room, skill train, and attend HS workouts??.
