I think basketball in AUS/NZ can dominate youth sport by making all pre-High School games 3X3 only. Quicker skill development (all skills) and more chances to play (not sit on the bench). You can’t hide in 3X3, you have to play, which is what kids want. Small change = big results

I need to be careful talking about BA’s decision on Mt Gambier .... however, being an Australian myself and growing up always being told to roll your sleeves up and have a go, to have a crack and give it a shot, it’s tough to see an Aussie club held back from doing just that.

Maybe I’m just naive, but surely sports funding should equally be based on the sports that the community is playing, not just on winning medals. Aren’t we servicing tax payers first and foremost and if more of them play a certain sport, shouldn’t that sport be rewarded?
