“I hope this is a rare win-win-win between the restaurants, the delivery companies and the legislative process,” said Laurie Thomas, executive director of the Golden Gate Restaurant Association. “I think there has to be a compromise for a good outcome.”
Behind the scenes the last few months, DoorDash, Grubhub, San Francisco and restaurant representatives have been hashing out a delivery fee cap deal.
