If ur a catching coordinator/instructor & you tell ur catchers it’s ok 2 set up 1 knee down on breaking balls w/guys on base, I think your wrong. Watching that happen is beyond frustrating. BE IN A FUNDAMENTALLY SOUND POSITION TO BLOCK THE DAMN BALL!.

This is more on the coaches than the young man. It’s a teaching/coaching moment. They (coaches) need to handle the situation better. #baseball.

Chatted w/ scouts @ college coaches about many players over the years. 1st or 2nd question without fail…”can U tell me about his make up?” No matter how many times I tell parents & players what an important part of the equation this is, far too many refuse to listen #baseball.
I’m not calling out the kids name but there is a player who is very talented looking for a home (all over social media) , however, he is a selfish, disrespectful a-hole. Wants to blame other people, but the fact he’s not on a roster is because no one wants to deal with him.
