AA was on 92.9 today incase you don’t get to listen- They always wanted a one year deal with HSK despite exploring multi year deals. They signed Iglesias to be the closer and before signing Suarez had a discussion with Iglesias to make sure there were no concerns about roles.

The caveat here that I forgot to add is that the strike zone box you see on your television will not 100% be in synch with ABS which could cause some confusion. I believe because of that if MLB had their choice they’d prefer broadcasts not use it.

Assuming the Mets wouldn’t go 5 yrs on 31yo P. Alonso because they really can’t lock up the DH spot with 27yo J. Soto on the roster. The Phillies just locked up their DH with 33yo K. Schwarber for 5 years with 33yo B. Harper on their roster. We'll check back in 2028-30.
