Doctors want to work in a system that works for patients. We have the lowest consultant numbers in EU. The longest waiting lists. 20% empty posts. We want to work collaboratively to fix this for patients, so that all have timely access & so that our fantastic graduates stay.

Any serious diagnosis can trigger an endless search for the ‘why’. Why did this happen to me? What did I do wrong? Whose fault is it? Shouldn’t someone have been able to prevent it?.Blame and shame are unhelpful emotions when dealing with cancer, but often go hand in hand.
