With LIV and inflated purses, it should be HARD. Like beyond hard. I don’t care if the course isn’t fair or the wind is too high or if it is a downpour. I WANT TO WATCH THAT. I could give Two shits if the course is set up fair or how the new equipment is allowing less spin, etc..

Don’t stop with the ball, roll everything back. Limit Clubs, make it hard. That’s why we watch the US Open. Carnage. I don’t care if I play the same equipment. I want the pro to play in the hardest/most variable conditions possible. They get paid to do this, don’t make it easy.

If you really want to move to a mostly TV format, play the best courses in the world and forget the stands. Get cameras on the ground and follow certain players close. Interviews between shots. The fans wants to be let in on the action.
