General meeting: second Tuesday of the month from 7pm, High Town Methodist Church. Improvement Action Group: first Friday of the month from 9am, Hightown Community Centre. @EdibleHighTown: every Wednesday and Saturday from 10am (weather dependent) - meet outside Noah shop.

🌿 Big thanks to @EdibleHighTown and volunteers for becoming 'Friends of Hat Gardens' today. Taking their project on the road for the first time, they gave the new pocket park extra love with weeding and plant TLC. Thanks to all who took part! 🙌

People's Park and Wardown Park in High Town ward have retained their Green Flag status. This is a national recognition of excellence following on-site judging by @GreenFlagAward. Friends of People's Park will continue to help @lutoncouncil maintain and improve the open space.

The government has been threatening to restrict developers' ability to build new homes if they fail to sign up. Dandara has cleared a site behind 10 Midland Road, and bounded by High Town Road and Burr Street, with planning permission for 264 homes: https://t.co/AYhAydvaHM 2/3

A company aiming to build at least 246 homes in High Town has cleared a potential hurdle to development. Dandara Living became one of the last firms to sign a legal agreement that commits them to paying for fire safety remediation on previously completed projects. 1/3
