I saw that video a while back. At first I was excited because it looked like a single shotgun, but I found they had just tied together several shotguns. Someone should design an actual quad barrel shotgun that resembles these melded together, with a single trigger mechanism.

Could draw a line between classic arena FPS and 6DOF games, in that the player is free to move backwards, strafe, jump, etc, all while exchanging fire. Halo's movement meant you could three-shot kill an enemy while jumping backwards. Impossible in "tactical" sprint+ADS shooters.
@citadeldev "Classic" Halo had a very specific formula. Could move full speed in any direction with no accuracy penalty. This one detail set it apart from any game with movement-accuracy penalties, and centered everything on the player's aiming skill. Adding sprint changes the entire game.
