Sept 1, 2022 Dec '22 corn - $6.58 NOLA urea - $695 Ratio - 106 bushels per ton of urea Today Dec '22 corn - $6.28 NOLA Urea - $500 Ratio - 79 bushels per ton of urea Spending 27 less bushels today for the same urea ton. Higher grain prices is not always the best value.

Perhaps nothing defines rainfall departures & crop stage timing better than these 2 images from the Kentucky @usda_nass Office. June 20 - Aug 20 looks great. June 8 to July 15 is a totally different story...and the reason why yields are so variable this year.

Understanding how hybrids react in different sub-acre environments paints a whole new picture. On our walk, the hybrid we thought would win in environment A was the same one that was dead in environment B. Yield by strip > yield by environment @agrilytics
