Farewell to @BrianWilsonLive. He outlived both his brothers and I'm grateful to have his music. He had already composed this bittersweet farewell for the band's 50th anniversary in 2012 with the "Summer's Gone" suite. Give it a listen to the end.

My dad was an FBI agent when he was ordered to arrest Japanese Americans for internment. He did it for a day, quit, joined the Navy, and spent three years fighting in the South Pacific, 28 island landings. Never regretted his decision. His lesson was, "You can always say no."

@Emilio2763 @stuartpstevens Surely, you are not racist enough to conflate the unconstitutional arrest of innocent American citizens with defending our nation against a foreign government that had literally attacked Pearl Harbor.

Wow. @JACL_National jumps to the forefront and redeems 84 years of history with this act of much-needed leadership. Thank you David Inoue, for identifying how Japanese Americans have standing to show harm from the malicious dismantling of our institutions and civil liberties.
Today, JACL joins @campaignlegal, @ocanational, @sierraclub, and @UCSUSA in taking legal action against Elon Musk and DOGE for their unchecked actions in slashing federal funding, dismantling federal agencies, and firing federal employees.

Significantly, the event is co-sponsored by @ResistenciaNW, with many connections to be drawn between the arrest of our grandparents and great-grandparents as enemy aliens in WW2 and the targeting of immigrants for deportation today. 2/2. Free tickets: https://t.co/g64WhRNOFl
