Another teacher friend just decided to make this year his last (12 years early). I asked him why, he said • Class sizes are ridiculous • Zero accountability for parents, students 🙁 • Too much testing 😤 • Admin was overwhelmed & not helpful 😨 • Frozen salary, low pay

This is so pertinent to what we do .. for 'tactics' replace with 'content', and for 'coaches', replace with 'teachers'!

Only 3 weeks until trials. An unbelievable response from girls wishing to trial. Very few spaces remain before we have to close sign ups so don’t miss out!
Delighted to announce our 2023/24 trials for all of our teams at Haringey. Please sign up for trials on our website. https://t.co/rzqex9buoK

In the U16 Janet Palmer Bowl Final, holders @FortismerePe will be aiming to lift the trophy for the third time. Their opponents are @BR_PhysicalEd, who are looking to claim this title for the first time ever. (2/3). Best of luck to both teams!

@dannycare Question 1 - Did the kids enjoy and have fun with their pals? Question 2 - Refer back to question 1. Parents' confusion and their desire to live their lives vicariously through their 7yr old kids is not the major factor here!

It is so important that we recognise the inextricable link between PE, school sport and physical activity. A road map to leading healthy active lifestyles is embedded in a statutory entitlement @educationgovuk @NickGibbUK @brainercise @_ukactive @YouthSportTrust @Sport_England

A hugely important research report published today - 3x50mins of physical activity a week reduces depression in young people by one third. I ask again… please can we base policy on evidence

At the 1st round of the @SchoolAthletics Cross Junior Cup today, hosted by Harrow, our Junior boys qualified through to the regional final. There were amazing individual runs by Y9’s Amy Kirk and Triziano Wilson. Competing as 1st year inters Amy won her race with Trizy 3rd. 😊
