Thinking this morning about @SenatorLankford, and how dedicated he has been in his life to the book which says “I was hungry and you fed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was a stranger and you welcomed me in,” until he decided to dedicate himself to far less noble ideals.

Thinking this morning about how hard @TomColeOK04 must’ve worked to earn the role of appropriations chairman, and how he’s using that immense power to pass legislation that will make the poor poorer and the rich richer. I wonder if he’s proud of that.

Thinking this morning about how celebrated @stephaniebice used to be as a state senator for being reasonable on policy, and how that legacy will be forever tarnished if & when she votes for Trump’s mega magabill, which will take healthcare away from thousands of her constituents.

For no particular reason, did you know that 17 states have government-run retail liquor stores? Including such liberal bastions as Wyoming, Iowa, and North Carolina? In NC, for example, *only* the state can own/operate liquor stores.
