We loved being out with @BandstandBeds at the weekend, helping to plant new fruit trees in Clapham Common. These trees are more resilient to the extreme temperatures we now face as a result of the climate crisis, and are another reminder why we should choose #planetoverprofit

We are broadening out our projects in Lambeth to include reinvigorating Max Roach Park, working with local residents and the Council. An article will be coming out shortly in the wonderful Brixton Bugle - get involved in you use the park and live nearby!

We have been OUT AND ABOUT the last weekend or two - a few of our group here gardening in Vauxhall with SE11 Community Gardening. The evidence behind the community and wellbeing benefits of communal gardens is outstanding, give it a go

We are working with the Woodland Trust to find places to plant FREE trees. Do YOU run an organisation with land which could benefit from this? These will in general be public bodies like schools, health centres etc but not limited to this. Message us if you do or think you might

We think there are still many spots in Lambeth which could be used for community green spaces and are instead used for fly-tipping. For example, this on the corner of Bellefields Road. Could @lambeth_council @RezinaChowdhury @jp_sw9 take action?

At Friends of the Earth Lambeth we have been back up and running for little a while but we're just now getting back onto twitter. We plan to share what we have been up to on here, and we would love to link up with other campaigning groups in our local area.
