Time to sum up the work products of the School Choice Demonstration Project in @ua_edreform at @uacoehp at @UArkansas for 2023. I can't resist doing it to the tune of "The 12 Days of Christmas," given the easy rhyming scheme. Here goes!.

Scott's throw headed my way, and I reached out with my right hand and speared it! When I got home, I carefully uncrumpled it, joyfully discovering that Scott had autographed it and included banjo picks! A perfect prize to close out an epic concert experience!

If their 22-song concert and 2-song encore had been the end of it, that alone would have been an epic experience. But, after the encore, the band-mates handed their instruments to the roadies, pulled up the set lists that were taped to the stage, crumpled them up & tossed them.

I didn't take many photos or vids of the concert, because I wanted to be fully present for the beautiful experience of their masterful performance. Here is the one "artistic" shot I got, with bassist Bob Crawford in silhouette.

Scott and Seth have performed together since childhood. They often tradeoff verses of songs and even hand-off musical parts, as here when Seth takes over for Scott on their old upright touring piano (perhaps the one they learned on as children?) without missing a beat.

The Avett Brothers is the official name for the band, but their talented sister, Bonnie, plays keyboards and sings backup vocals on tour.

I was traveling when tix went on sale, so I asked Alex to buy the best pair of seats available. We got third row, stage right, only the security guy & a few feet separated us from Scott & Seth.
