We need to assign a score to campaigning politicians based on their propensity to frivolously litigate with OUR money. He might not like the decision, but that doesn’t mean an appeal is appropriate.
#BREAKING - The Ford government says it will be appealing this decision. “We were elected by the people of Ontario with a clear mandate to restore lanes of traffic and get drivers moving by moving bike lanes off of major roads”.

Has anyone else been offered money to remove a review on @amazon ? My integrity is worth more than $35, but this is a problem for me. Amazon should do more to make sure reviews are honest.

I grew up not knowing I was Indigenous, and not knowing anything about the Residential School in my own town. I have learned so much on my own and from my children. I am happy to have the chance to learn more:

When will @TeamKerzner listen? Cops have the opportunity, motivation and rationalization to do just about anything. And our oversight bodies are falling short. No one to report to. This is what being part of a team looks like.
This is literal INSANITY. This officer was so drunk, he URINATED on himself during a stop. His superior falsified records so it would not look like he and 5 others were drinking on the job when they shouldn't have been. Shame.

How can justice be “seen to be done” when it can’t be seen at all? Now litigants have to choose between an accommodation for disability (virtual) and open court principle. Canada is slipping down the slope of unethicality.

Public transit. Sounds about right. Let’s give them more subsidies, then his salary can go even higher. I, for one, believe that “the norm” now is insane.
NEW: Metrolinx CEO Michael Lindsay will be eligible for a six-figure performance bonus every year, on top of a base salary of roughly $687,000. #OnPoli.

So, what exactly will change?.
The absolute disdain that people have for government workers (as you'll see in the replies) is so ridiculous and so incredibly misguided - Carney's massive cuts means waiting hours more on the phone with the CRA, it means having trouble accessing EI and your pension.

This is ridiculous. It happened in 2021 in my Superior Court motion hearing and the very same CBC pointed the finger at me! Now they are just excluding the public instead of having participants ID themselves and regulate the technology? It’s so easy to do.

An increasing number of Zoom bombings infiltrating Ontario courtrooms now means the public is banned from attending proceedings virtually.

Good list! Have a read and familiarize yourself with these phenomenal Canadians: #CanadaDay2025.
Since it is Canada Day, I thought I would share my personal choices for the Top 10 Canadians (pre-colonial to today). This is just my opinion, nothing more. Everyone will have their own Top 10 with different names :). #1 - Terry Fox (1958 - 1981). 🧵1/11
