If you're judging disabled people for using takeaway services, you don’t understand disability. Cooking isn’t easy for everyone, especially if you’re disabled. Pain, fatigue, mobility issues, brain fog, sensory overload, cognitive issues, flaring, inaccessible kitchens - it can

I keep hearing “we want our country back”. Yeah we all do. How’s about being able to buy a home on one wage? Or wages even being liveable? What about same day GP appointments? Or ambulances arriving within minutes? Clean rivers and beaches? I could go on and on. But I’ll tell one

#WelfareNotWarfare There are millions of disabled people across the UK petrified and worried about Labour’s proposed cuts. On 30th June and 1st July at protests in London & across the UK as a movement we show them who we are; determined, angry & we will resist government cuts

Thank you we appreciate it. If you get a chance send your MP colleagues my interview with Sky News I did earlier please. I've been speaking out as well as doing my petition. Thank you https://t.co/vh22weluZX
Disabled people’s organisations, including @Dis_PPL_Protest, @TakingThePIP1 & @DisRightsUK, have rightly condemned Labour’s so-called “concessions” on disability benefit cuts. It’s not a concession to condemn future generations to less support. I’ll be voting against this Bill.

Absolutely not! Write your MP and politely but firmly ask them to vote NO to the welfare reform bill. #TakingThePIP #WelfareNotWarfare EMAIL YOUR MP

Our social security system should be there for us all, especially when we need it most. But the UK government has proposed huge cuts to disabled people’s support which are going through Parliament
Everyone at the core #TakingThePIP team have been working their socks off today! As have all disabled activists. These concessions don’t work!! @DisRebellion @TakinThePIP1 @Dis_PPL_Protest

Have I got this right? Starmer’s concessions re: pip is disabled ppl who don’t score 4 points on 1 daily living q won’t get their PIP yanked now, but at their next review? new claimants will still have to score 4 points? If so, how is this a concession? #takingthepip

It’s horrendous. This is cruelty beyond what I thought possible from @UKLabour . They have well and truly become Red Reform #WelfareReformBill
@Firecrazee @UKLabour My daughter waited 10 months for her decision. I saw what huge fear and immense stress just applying put her through. Now she has the worry that she could lose some, or all of it. I have no more words for this cruelty.

Do it. For making so many disabled people live in abject fear for months, they deserve @UKLabour to implode. #welfarenotwarfare #WelfareReformBill

I have today resigned from the Labour party and joined @TheGreenParty 💚 Labour has lost its moral compass and we need a bold, eco-socialist vision to take on the far right. Statement from me 👇

I signed this amendment because my gov need to pause. From my time in the Employment Service, I know the system needs reform. But we must do it with compassion, proper consultation, a full impact assessment and Labour values at it's core. Let’s take our time and get it right.

For every 238 people on incapacity benefits in London, there is just 1 disability confident role. Removing vital support from disabled people will not help them into work, it will only force many deeper into poverty with no way out.

Accepting Badenoch’s rescue surely can’t mean anything but humiliation for Starmer? How can Labour form an alliance with Tories? Instead of being in opposition, they have merged in to one. Both leaders deserve to be ousted and both parties to implode

I'm calling on the Government to urgently rethink its proposed changes to welfare. Analysis of the proposals shows that the impact will be substantial, destroying the financial safety net for too many disabled Londoners ⬇️
EXCL: Sadiq Khan becomes most senior Labour figure yet to urge government to drop controversial disability benefit changes, supporting growing Labour rebellion that threatens to derail the plans. The London mayor warns the welfare bill - which more than 100 Labour MPs have

Let's hope other Labour MPs now have the courage to stand up to Starmer, Reeves and Kendall and refuse to support the cruel, unfair cuts to disability benefits. #TakingThePip
