I used to run away from clients who asked for free test designs before a contract. I saw them as red flags. But with time I have realized I was making a mistake. Please do the test, but always send it watermarked. I have secured some good clients from doing free test designs.

I just woke up this morning to see that a client ended our contract on Upwork and left a bad review because of a mistake I made on his job. My JSS dropped from 100 to 94 over one small project. I still don’t fully understand how Upwork’s JSS calculations work till today.
