Core motivations for going into tech:. ✅ Life is unpredictable. Even parents aren’t guaranteed as a source. ✅ I just love solving problems . ✅ Need to keep up with my skincare, dermatologist and looking good in general 😅. ✅ I love freedom and money gives me that . ✅ Bills.
Core motivation for going into tech : . 1) My parents are getting older , I can not rely on my 50k monthly salary job to care for them and my siblings ✅. 2) My life must change for good ✅. 3) People making it in tech don’t have 2 heads ✅. 4) I got tired of saving 20k monthly.

Facts. My first US client on Upwork asked for 20 screens at a small budget. I added 10 extra for free just to build trust & thank him for giving me a chance without any review. He refused to end the contract, gave me all the milestones, and added a bonus. Look at his feedback 👇

Someone said my growth is “because I’m a woman using my face” but. I’ve posted things that got 17 likes in months. I’ve stared at my screen for an hour with 0 likes. I’ve felt shy to keep posting. I didn’t quit. I learned & tested. Growth feels sudden but it’s built in silence.

Don’t take it personally fr. I called @samsonrichfiel1 my boss. He taught me UI. I felt he was jealous of my work. finding fault in everything 😂. Now I’m like jealous of what? My poor hierarchy or my thick shadows thicker than the eye shadow of an agbo seller??. Glad I learnt.
How do you guys handle feedback? Got one on a project I did today and honestly… it’s making me question my career choices 🥲.
