No quarterback in HISTORY had checked himself out of a game for being tired. When you listen to the greats they have to be drug off the field because they understand it may be their last snap. He was a flawed project from the beginning.
October 27th, 2024 was the day the Colts gave up on Anthony Richardson as their franchise quarterback after he shockingly tapped out of a game without an injury. Richardson was then benched for Joe Flacco. Indianapolis then signed Daniel Jones five months later to take his job.

Colts have played similar schedules over the past 10 years and looked just as bad. This isn’t a real argument.

Exactly. The fact that his health is the biggest concern is lowkey an upside. Call me crazy but I would take Daniel Jones over San Darnold if I was starting a team from scratch
@FeuxManning Facts. He was absolutely brilliant and clearly a good fit for what this staff is trying to do. No brainer really. And if it doesn’t work out it’ll most likely be because he doesn’t return to health not because he’s not a good fit.

Colts were the best team in the league until Danny got hurt. I’m not saying I’m all the way there as DJ as the franchise but what I am saying is they HAVE to pay to find out. The alternatives are so bleak.
@FeuxManning No there not. Ballard is the one making the decision so it will be as bad as possible. It will be 2030 before the Colts will have a chance to compete again.
