Christianity is based on proof texting and allegorizing the Hebrew documents, and not even in Hebrew they use a poor man's translation to the native tongue of that day. And even then? Paul still murdered the source text, even the LXX doesn't match Paul.

Imagine being proud of breaking Torah. That's _ALL_ of Christianity.
To those who deny that Christ is truly present in the Eucharist: Think about what you’re saying: 1. The earliest Christians were wrong 2. Three-quarters of Christian history is wrong 3. The Bible is wrong 4. The apostles’ successors are wrong 5. You, in 2025, are right

@gregreese @RealCandaceO You know how the early church applied the idea of being "born again"? I can't even say it here on X, that's how depraved the early Christians were.

Which is correct? Christians say the LXX is, even though they have "two witnesses" in the DSS and MS manuscripts that contradict it and Paul's selective out of context quotation of that passage.
Paul in Romans 11:24, takes part of Isaiah 59:20 from the piss poor LXX (that doesn't match the DSS that predates Paul) and a portion of Isaiah 27:9, staples them together and screams JESUS! But this is completely eisegesis and even Christians have to honestly admit that.

You can't take two disparate passages out of context, staple them together and say they are about your pretext. Paul did, as do many of the Gospel writers - but this doesn't make what they did right.

And this does matter as your Christian translators based their Masoretic interpretation on the piss poor Greek. Now we have the DSS and we can see that many of the mistakes in the NT from the LXX are straight up not in the DSS.

What if John's interpretation of Zech 12:10 is utterly wrong, being based on a poor Greek interpretation of the underlying Hebrew and ignoring the exilic context?

In Matthew, this is part of the antisemitic Marcionite core of the Nude Testament. Problem? The murder of Jesus causes the Jews to have ETERNAL CONDEMNATION, and several parables of Jesus speak to this as well. John had to change it, and even have a Jew say he died for them.
@CharlesM917 @graceforprize @FarmingWithYHWH @TrevorSheatz Yes, the Bible clearly says the Jews killed Jesus, however in reality He laid down His own life. Even Jews brag they killed Him to this day, but thankfully He didnt stay dead.

IMO, the idea of Jesus even being pierced is something that developed second century. The Synoptics, Mark, Matthew, Luke? None of them have the piercing in the side, but even more? NONE say his hands and feet were pierced, nailed to the cross.

One of the wrong questions asked about "Whom was pierced" in debates on Christianity, regarding Psalm 22:16 and Zech 12:10 is _NEITHER_ says "Pierced" in Hebrew. the same is true for Isaiah 53. The word, "PIERCED" is not there.

Tikkun Soferim also reveals that Zechariah would never record God being pierced or dying. That's not what it says in Hebrew.

What did Hab 1:12 used to say? Are You not from everlasting, O Yahweh, my God, my Holy One? You will not die. The Jews thought the idea of God being connected to death at all was offensive (Which is too bad as this verse destroys Christianity) But ->

Notice how Christians ignore translations that are contrary to their pretext and completely ignore the context? They also ignore that a Jew (whom Zechariah was) would never write that God got pierced and died. Ever heard of Tikkun Soferim? The Jews changed Hab 1:12 for that.
@CharlesM917 @graceforprize @FarmingWithYHWH @TrevorSheatz Jesus is God, you can even see it yourself in Zechariah 12:10, notice how God calls the man that was pierced for your transgressions "me"

It's amazing Christians can use this as a defense when the _ENTIRE NT_ and the so called Messianic prophesies _ARE ALL_ built on cherry picking TNK and taking it of context.
@CharlesM917 @graceforprize @FarmingWithYHWH @TrevorSheatz Isn't it amazing how skeptics of Jesus pick and choose verses that are talking about the Messiah or not by how much it does or doesn't sound like Jesus.

Debating Christians I realize how alien they sound. Believing God became a man, got murdered brutally for their sin, that they can pretend to drink his blood and eat his flesh and through all that sin, have their own sin justified. Ex 23:7

This is such an important training topic - not just for programming languages but all of life. We get "survivor bias" and there is no doubt in my mind, our LLM have the same fundamental problem.
