Humbled and grateful for this honour
Congrats to TMOS Chief Investigator @NanoJagadish for being elected as a foreign member of the Chinese Academy of Science. His is only the second Australian to have been given this honour, first one being Max Lu. This honour reflects of a long of career of impactful work.

It turns out that sparkling water and raisins are *fascinating*. My daughter and I happened upon this effect playing together in the kitchen a long time ago, and I couldn't help but explore the system more deeply... 1/n https://t.co/wNBX7nnGJS

Day 18 of great biology papers. "Life at Low Reynolds Number," by E.M. Purcell (1976). If you push on a cell, how far will it travel before stopping? About 0.1 angstroms. And it will take just 0.6 microseconds to come to a halt. At small scales, "inertia plays no role

Out at @NaturePhotonics just now! https://t.co/CnuBh8bQoj Very happy to share our latest work, #SACDimaging, enhancing the fluorescence fluctuation detection sensitivity of SOFI by orders of magnitudes. It requires only 20 frames to achieve a >2-fold 3D resolution. (1/n)

Super cool biomedical science illustration😀😃
This year, I committed my time after lab to building a science art portfolio. The process of creating each piece was a lot like scientific research: grasping in the dark, slowly watching it take shape into something a little different from what I originally set out to achieve.
