Interesting - I have no clue how accurate this is but allegedly 70% of all Bitcoin trades are conducted via Tether and only 8% in dollars. Tether is being created out of thin air (like QE?) to buy bitcoin and thus keep price inflated-

Finally got around to writing a review of my own investment performance during 2021 and current market musings. It wasn't a great year VS benchmarks unfortunately, but a lesson or two learned.

The performance over last 3 years was roughly half of what an appropriate benchmark achieved. Financial services is a strange industry in that paying more usually gets you an inferior product.

I'm in the process of transferring a client's pension away from St James's Place. From cost savings alone his new pension is projected to be 33% larger at point of retirement. This calculation assumes equal performance, but in reality the SJP plan performed v poorly historically.
