Ngl, I still think this is the most impressive project by MAPPA yet both for animation and just the production of everything in general.
Even the way characters move and the clothes animate. Its aesthetic is great to me.
It is very similar to the mangas feel imo.

Also a huge part of why in presentation JJK is better is the direction is so creative and all the episode directors give their own creative takes. But with Demon Slayer always looks the same for better or worse.

I don't understand this take. It shouldn't matter whether it is a woman or a man writing. It should be about how they write it. There are some great male writers of female characters and vice versa. Rooney Mara was also perfect casting. She's one of the best actresses of today.

TLOU1 had a better story Imo. I really loved tlou2 but there are quite a few games I'll put above it. Uncharted 1 2 3 4. Death Stranding was probably the best game for story of recent. Red dead redemption 2. Final Fantasy. Halo. Half Life. Bioshock. RE. Batman. Mass Effect, imo.

It has so much phenomenal direction. The experimental shots they use too really work and make it dynamic. I feel when I watch Demon Slayer it feels quite flat sometimes. Still like the show overall though.

How tf does Chainsaw Man look like MCU in its colours?
MCU usually uses a lot of tacky bright colours mixed with a brown and grey landscape. There is no passion for cinematography. The Mise-en-scène is generic at best.
But Chainsaw Man knows how and when to use colour-
The Dandadan anime's aesthetic is the perfect example of how Chainsaw Man should have looked rather than that MCU tier color design it had

You hit the nail on the head there. Jurassic Park was perfectly directed which is why the cgi in alot of shots is timeless. It's about balence and knowing when to use it. This movie just has no thought into it lol (judging from the trailer).

It's so good!! Ik it isn't complete yet but the arc literally has everything great about Hunter x Hunter and Shounen put into one arc. The action, suspense, mystery, world building, etc. I'm sure more people will put it up there with Chimera Ant Arc once it's finished.

Aha, yes, short films can never be "cinema." Sorry to all the film festivals but nothing you show can be true cinema unless it is theatrical length. Also, a big chunk of Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin's iconic works aren't cinema either now.

Imagine if they use the vol 33 cover for the visuals with another Linked Horizon song. And then use vol 34 for the visuals in the ending song similar to ending 7. That, imo would be a perfect way to end it off in my head.

I always found it strange how people say Cloud loved one more than the other.
The fact is throughout the story it is implied he loved both Aerith and Tifa in different stages of his journey and life.
Life isn't black and white. And Clouds romantic life was always a grey area.

I think out of all the panels this was the only one I think that should be 1 for 1. I'm so glad how experimental and different this season a episode are. They've amplified and highlighted so many great moments. So much more raw emotion from the Black flash sequences too.

Chainsaw Man has a darker colour pallette, that is to give it immersion and a sense of realism to an unsettling degree. It brings you straight in and is immersive. It feels exactly as Fujimoto's work is very cinematic. It is very clear this is the tone Fujimoto is after with CSM.
