In all seriousness, I'm naturally really excited about this. If it came at the cost of canceling other games, that's fucked and would bum me out. I think my only question is why the fuck a new Fallout game wasn't instantly greenlit the moment Xbox got their hands on the IP?.

Honestly, they've done Bethesda as a whole dirty. How do you acquire them and then lose Pete Hines, Harvey Smith, Shinji Mikami, John Johanas, and Matt Firor?. Like, you're a 'Todd Howard' away from losing everything that made Bethesda what it is.

For what it's worth, I was told a similar thing. I don't know anything else, but Xbox has done Zenimax Online Studios incredibly dirty.
The Elder Scrolls Online dev's unannounced MMO was doing well and even scaling up as Xbox cancelation blindsided staff, sources say.
